A few details make it much easier to talk about stone, scope and timing for a granite countertop project. Gather what you can; nothing here needs to be perfect.

Helpful Things to Have Ready

  • Photos of the room from a few angles, including the current countertop
  • Rough lengths of each counter run and the island, if you have one
  • Your town, such as Abbeville, Seneca, Clinton, Gaffney, Camden or Cheraw
  • Sink, faucet and cooktop choices, or a note that they are still undecided
  • Whether cabinets are staying, being replaced or still on order
