Homes Across the Region

The towns on this list are spread across the Upstate, the Midlands and the Pee Dee, and their homes vary just as much. Historic houses around Abbeville and Camden often have walls and floors that have shifted over the years, which makes careful templating especially valuable. Lake homes near Seneca tend toward open kitchens with large islands. Neighborhoods in Clinton, Gaffney and Cheraw include everything from mid century ranches to new construction.

Whatever the house, the same steps apply: choose the slab, template the space, fabricate and install with proper support. Service guides such as granite countertop installation, granite countertop repair and outdoor kitchen countertops explain each one.

Planning a Project From Another Town

Distance changes the rhythm of a project more than the work itself. Templating, installation and any follow up visits are scheduled as separate trips, so it helps to have cabinets fully installed, fixtures chosen and the room cleared before each visit. Sharing photos and rough measurements early makes it easier to plan those trips well and keep your kitchen out of commission for as short a time as possible.
